Composition:
Sulfamethoxazole : 400mg Trimethoprim : 80mg
Ingredients :
q.s per one tablet
( Amidon,
lactose, polyvinyl pyrolidon talc and magnesium
stearate )
Indication:
- Upper and Lower respiratory tract infection:
Acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchoiectasic,
pneumonia, sore throat and sinusitis.
- Gastrointestinal tract infections: Typhoid,
cholera, dysentery
- Renal and urinary tract infection: acute and
chronic cystitis, pyelonephritis, urethritis,
prostatitis.
- Skin and Soft Tissue infections: Pyoderma,
furuncles, abscesses and infected wounds.
- Genital infections: in both sexes, including
gonococcal urethritis.
Dosage and Administration:
- Adults and children at age of 12 and older:
2 tablets, 2 times daily.
- Children under 12 years old: 1/4-1/2 tablet,
2 times daily.
Contraindications:
- Premature childbirth, newborn, the last
period of pregnancy or breast feeding.
- Sensitvity to the component of the drug.
Side Effects:
Nausea, stomatitis,
diarrhea, headache, dyspepsia, maculopapular can
occurs. Rare reactions include hematopoietic damage,
throbocytopenia, leucopenia and liver damage.
Interaction:
Contrimoxazol should not be
used concurrently with the anti-coagulants and
phenytoin. Hypoglycemia can occur during
cotrimoxazol therapy.

Indications:
Inflammatory and Degenerative
forms of rheumatism: Rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile
rheumatoid arthritis; ankylosing spondylitis,
osteoarthritis and spondyarthritis. Painful
syndromes of the wertebral column. Acute attacks of
gout. Painful and / or inflammatory conditions in
gynaecology, eg dysmenorrhea or adnexitis.
Dosage and Administration:
Usual adults
dose: Initial daily dose: 50 – 150 mg/day in 2 -3
divided doses. Maintenance treatment: daily dose: 50
– 100 mg Tablets should be swallowed whole with
liquid, preferably before meals.
DEXAMETHASON

Dexamethasone acetate 0.5 mg

Indications:
Treatment of all conditions
in which corticosteroid therapy is indicated :
Allergic disorders, bronchial asthma, rheumatoid
arthritis, autoimmunologic diseases.
Dosage and Administration:
- Adults: Orally,
3 - 4 tabs ( 0.5 – 2 mg ) daily,
- Children: 1/4 –1/2
tab / kg / day ( 1-3 tabs / 5 kg / day), during
meals.
Dexamethason must always be taken under the
supervision of a physician. To avoid impairment of
the suprarenal gland, it is recommended to
administer in the morning in double doses every
other day. Do not withdraw prolonged prescription
abruptly but taper the dosage. Prolonged usage
should be avoided where possible.
